I receive complaints from users their computers failed to install 1 or more windows updates, the machine might be not compatible for this updated, i opened the SCCM reporting to check the compliance of the user machine, i found the failed update is not installed and required as will, i copied the update unique ID from the report page and went to the user machine to the cache folder, but i couldn't find a folder which its name matches the update unique ID
for example:
update name: Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 8 for x64-based Systems (KB2862772)
Update ID "as shown in SCCM reports" 95246a5c-9e74-4c1b-b4db-05f769dab4fe
folder name in the cache directory which belongs to the update is 5d8cfa88-005d-4903-a10d-fc56a720e78f.1.System
all what i need is to determine the update location on the client cache folder and install it manually.
