Hello All,
Greeting for the day.
This is regarding the SCCM client not sending the correct state message for the deployment.
Scenario:
I created a mandatory deployment {28A5EB0C-4F32-4791-851B-8338848E25A8}with a deadline for this month and made that available for all the clients in my infrastructure.
In the meanwhile there are many machines on which the administrators or the users installed updates using the Automatic Windows Update Agent. Now since the patches released for this month are already installed using the Windows Update agent the SCCM client agent is not able to start the update installation from the deployment.
And when I initiate the Updates Deployment Evaluation cycle I get the following in the updatesdeployment.log:
State message with TopicType 300 and TopicId {28A5EB0C-4F32-4791-851B-8338848E25A8} has been recorded StateMessage 8/22/2013 8:37:06 AM 4128 (0x1020)
State message with TopicType 301 and TopicId {28A5EB0C-4F32-4791-851B-8338848E25A8} has been recorded StateMessage 8/22/20138:37:06 AM 4128 (0x1020)
.
.
Later on it gives the following information:
State message with TopicType 302 and TopicId {28A5EB0C-4F32-4791-851B-8338848E25A8} has been recorded StateMessage 8/22/20138:39:06 AM 5296 (0x14B0)
Somehow its not sending the correct State Message about the deployment to the Management Point even when the udpates are already installed.
Please suggest how to proceed to fix this so that this system and many more starts showing as compliance in our reports.
Thanks in advance :)
