How to Handle Minor Revisions in Updates using SCCM 2007

In SCCM 2007 SP2 SUP we deploy patches every month.

However i am not sure what happens to the minor version of the updates.

We sometimes receive emails stating the updates have had minor revision increment and are not sure what we need to do .
