After testing SUP for around 20 clients initially and since everything felt ok , i went ahead and removed the WSUS policy for our OU.
We have 2500 Computers in our OU and i expected them to all scan to the new SUP server and be ready for updates through SCCM.
Unfortunately since yesterday only 300 client show as successfully completed scan in the reports.
Around 2100 client show scan failed
What did i do wrong.
I thought clients were putting load on the SUP server , so i gave it more CPU and Memory
But still the success rate has not improved.
Most common error message:
-2147219822 -- Around 600 clients have this error (mostly these machines were offline)
-2147012894 -- Around 1300 clients have this error
As mentioned 300 have completed scan successfully.
Any advice.
