Automate Patch Management in SCCM Server

Hi,
I have deployed SCCM Server with all the features and everything working fine.
I have been deploying patches which are released by Microsoft and deploying it using SCCM.
I am really bored and tired of updating the update list and then download it and then creating windows update packages and then deploy it which is a lengthy process and it is really frustrating sometime.
Can i write a PowerShell script or with any other scripting languages which can automate the whole patch management process ?
Please help me out with this.
