Hi,
I am having issues downloading patches in SCCM 2007 (Add Version #)
I get errors like the following in the log PatchDownloader.log:
Renaming \\xx1\local-utils\APAR's\Microsoft Updates - APARS-2014-Q2\52ce1ca0-c637-4f73-b9a6-c38e0c7d3d84.1 to \\xx1\local-utils\APAR's\Microsoft Updates - APARS-2014-Q2\52ce1ca0-c637-4f73-b9a6-c38e0c7d3d84
MoveFile() failed to rename \\xx1\local-utils\APAR's\Microsoft Updates - APARS-2014-Q2\52ce1ca0-c637-4f73-b9a6-c38e0c7d3d84.1 to \\xx1\local-utils\APAR's\Microsoft Updates - APARS-2014-Q2\52ce1ca0-c637-4f73-b9a6-c38e0c7d3d84 with GetLastError() = 5
ERROR: DownloadContentFiles() failed with hr=0x80004005
When I download the same patch this to a windows server share it works.
When I download this to a SAN Box above I have issues.
So I am assuming it is a permissions issue?
So my questions are
1. Any suggestions on how to fix the errors above?
2. When the PatchDownloader.log is run - what user account or machine account does it run as. Does it use the account I am logged in as or does it run as the site server account?
3. What are the correct permissions I need to make this work. If you can tell from a Windows perspective I might be able to adapt this to my SAN device.
(Sorry I don't have more specific details about it yet).
Thanks,
Pradeep
