All SUS logs say installed but Microsoft Update indicates still needed

I am installing 25 Office patches through WSUS in COnfig Mgr 2007. I watch the WUAHandler.log and it indicates that most patches are installed. The execmgr.log gives a 0 error code, but I reboot the system and then run Microsoft update and the same kb patches that say installed in the WUAHandler.log are still showing as required by Microsoft Update. Also there is no .log file for these updates in c:\windows???
