Every moring when I come in, I get an alert that the state of my SMS_WSUS_SYNC_MANAGER is in a 'Hung' state. We use OpsMgr and the is the alert we get:
The availability state for SMS component 'SMS_WSUS_SYNC_MANAGER' in site DA0 changed from 'Online' to 'Failed'. Its installation state is 'Installed'. Its execution state is 'Hung'. This component last provided a heartbeat at '04/20/2011 07:07:22'. The next heartbeat is expected in '3600' seconds from that time.
A check of the wsyncmgr.log shows it's stuck at

Something about every Definition Update for Forefront makes the SMS_WSUS_SYNC_MANAGER hang. Has anyone seen this before?
