I have one CM site that often has WSUS/Software Update failures. It gets 7000 and 7003 errors. The fix is either to restart the SMS_WSUS_CONTROL_MANAGER service using the ConfigMgr Server Manager or a full reboot. I would prefer to be able to restart the service when the 7000/7003 errors start appearing. I have not found a way to do so yet. Managing the service doesn't appear to be available outside the Service Manager tool.
Is it possible to do this using status filter rules?
