I'm a little confused. Why do our servers still show windows automatic update icon in the task manager when the registry is set to use wsus? HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate
We still deploy Wsus software update on servers each month. If I try to go to windows update via windows I get access denied because of registry entryNoWindowsUpdate. I wouldn't mind if the windows automatic update icon was in the task manager, but if someone clicks it, it deploys all of the updates pushed down from Microsoft and not just our approved list being pushed down from WSUS.
